AGL, GCAL To Sponsor Charity Raffles In Las Vegas To Benefit JFC
NEW YORK, NY ― May 15, 2007 ― American Gemological Laboratories (AGL) and Gem
Certification & Assurance Lab (GCAL), the Official Colored Gemstone and Diamond
Laboratories of the JCK Shows, are teaming up with Jewelers For Children (JFC) to raise funds
for children in need during Las Vegas market week May 29 through June 5.
AGL and GCAL, both subsidiaries of Collectors Universe, Inc., are sponsoring charity raffles to
benefit JFC at all of the major Las Vegas jewelry shows. The raffles include: JCK Las Vegas
Show, Booth L59 – Win a plasma screen TV. Couture, Booths 132-133 – Win a “Dream Team”
store makeover. Luxury by JCK, AGL/GCAL Oasis Lounge, Venetian Hotel, Ballroom, Level 5
(May 29-31) – Win a plasma screen TV. Premiere, AGL/GCAL Oasis Lounge, Venetian Hotel,
Marcello Ballroom, Level 4 (May 29-31) - Win collectible original autographed memorabilia.
Prestige Promenade, AGL/GCAL Oasis Lounge at JCK Las Vegas, Sands Expo – Win
collectible original autographed memorabilia.
In addition, Cap Beesley, President of AGL and Don Palmieri, President of GCAL, are donating
original autographed sports and Hollywood memorabilia for drawings that will be held at JFC’s
Facets of Hope Dinner on June 3 in the Bellagio Hotel.

Each raffle ticket comes with an adorable teddy bear sporting a shirt that proudly displays the
JFC, AGL and GCAL logos.
